This ramp basic ramp is located on the North side of Weiss Lake, the "Crappie Capitol of the World." The Chattooga River enters Weiss Lake near this site. This boat ramp has decent parking but no other amenities.

Samples are collected by trained CRBI Swim Guide staff weekly (each Thursday) from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Results are analyzed and published each Friday here and at coosa.org.
A test does not meet water quality standards when a presumptive E. coli level has an EPA Beach Action Value higher than 235 MPN/100ml. At this level, EPA estimates that more than 36 out of 1000 swimmers could become ill.
