About Brushy Branch Ramp
This boat ramp provides access to Weiss Lake and the Coosa River and is very popular with anglers. This site includes a 6-acre park with picnic pavilion, boat ramp and dock, weigh-in pavilion, and restrooms.

Samples are collected by trained CRBI Swim Guide staff weekly (each Thursday) from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Results are analyzed and published each Friday here and at coosa.org.
A test does not meet water quality standards when a presumptive E. coli level has an EPA Beach Action Value higher than 235 MPN/100ml. At this level, EPA estimates that more than 8 out of 1000 swimmers could become ill.
