Tamargueira Beach is situated immediately north from the urban beaches of Figueira da Foz. Chopped at seaside by rocky strings which are arranged perpendicularly to the water line, lies a very lengthy sand. It is supported by a vast car parking. To the east begin the walls of the Fortaleza de Buarcos. Far into southeast, one sights the Capela de Nossa Senhora da Conceição. The agitated sea waters make it a good sport for surfing practice.
