Marina de Vilamoura

Vilamoura Marina is one of the main centres of attraction in the Algarve, offering a wide range of tourist and leisure activities. With 825 berths, this is the largest and most important marina in Portugal and it is an important landmark on the national and international recreational boating scene.

All around, bars, terraces, restaurants and shops mean that the Marina is a lively spot all year round, and they are one of Vilamoura's key attractions. This "safe haven", the venue for numerous international sailing competitions, is also much sought after by fans of windsurfing, jet-skiing, parasailing and diving, and game fishing on the high seas. This is also the starting point for different cruises and boat trips.

Vilamoura Marina offers a wide range of services, has one of the best equipped boatyards in the country and a Sailing School, CIMAV. Right nearby, on the other side of the two stone moles, are the beaches of Praia de Vilamoura and the majestic Praia da Falésia.

Vilamoura Marina is proud to be one of the first marinas in Portugal to obtain certification under the Quality and Environmental Management System, implemented and certified under norms ISO 14001 and ISO 9001. This certification, together with the European Blue Flag for Marinas and Recreational Harbours, shows how successful the Marina's management policy has been and how it pays permanent attention to the environment.
