Albufeira da Tapada Grande

The beach of Albufeira Tapada Grande is located on Mina de São Domingos, Mértola, an interior zone and away from the sea.
Initially, the construction of the dam, intended only to dam the water supply to the mining complex. Today, it is also used for recreational and sporting events, and destination for the population of the county and hundreds of domestic and foreign tourists.

This natural beach, which was infrastructure built and arranged by the town hall, has a range of facilities and services of which we highlight: the bar and sanitary facilities, the outdoor amphitheater, a picnic area, children's playground, pedestrian paths; and trees surrounding the entire space.
