Puerto Calero is sampled Other from June 1st to May 31st.
PUerto Calero has always endeavoured to fulfil its originally established aim of creating a safe, clean and responsibly managed marina. Located within a Biospheric Reserve, the marina is proud to be part of a thriving awareness of ecological and environmental concerns, seizing the opportunity to support major conservationalist NGO's attracted by the impressive natural diversity and its managerial requisites such as WWF/Adena. A recent project being developed in conjunction with the Canarian-based group SECAC is a spectacular Cetacean Museum with life-size exhibits of dolphins and whales. The venture proposes ambitious educational programmes promoting public awareness of these animals and their deliate marine environment. We have been honoured to have been awarded the Blue Flag now for nearly ten years. Association with the Blue Flag organisation has provided a constant and important stimulus regarding development in sustainable and environmental issues. Most pleasurable has been the realisation that hard work invested in maintaining standards is being rewarded by active and encouraging suggestions from visitors and employees alike.
