Ayamonte is a city in the most westerly point of Andalucía. It is situated 60kms. west of the capital of the province, on the motorway that joins Seville with Faro. It is next to the Guadiana river mouth, on the border with Portugal.
Ayamonte is a town with a great commercial and fishing tradition. Currently it has more than 16.000 inhabitants.
