Praia dos Molhes da Atalaia is located on the coast of the municipality of Itajaí, adjacent to the jetty at the mouth of the Itajaí River. A sandy beach with fine grain size, it is ideal for sports and leisure, swimming and surfing. It is easily accessible, approximately 4 km from the zero mark, that is, from the city center. It has a parking lot with food trucks, a cycle path to the site and bicycle parking, public bathrooms and showers, an elevated access ramp to the sandbank, a lifeguard station and protection of the restinga vegetation.
