The Caiçara Lagoon Beach is located in the Araruama Lagoon, the largest permanently hypersaline lagoon in the world.
Over 1km long, it is located in the Massambaba Protected Area, and is a relatively unurbanized. It is a family-friendly beach with white sand and crystal-clear, calm, shallow waters.
