About Praia do Ervino
It is about 6 km long, located between Praia Grande and Canal do Linguado. It has much of its nature and wild landscape despite, in recent years, having had an accelerated urban development. It is ideal for tourists in search of peace and looking to contemplate nature, away from the hustle and bustle of other beaches. The origin of the name Ervino comes from a man named Ervino Klug, who owned a cabin in which he lived in the late 60's, when the neighborhood was still remote and difficult to access. Shellmounds are commonly found and, currently, it is a beach easily accessible via the BR 280.
The Acaraí State Park is bordering this area, it is possible to walk along the existing trails and observe different species of Bromeliads, reptiles, birds and even Anteaters, with several options of visiting points for tourists to choose and enjoy.
