Iate Clube de Santa Catarina – Veleiros da Ilha is the largest nautical society in Santa Catarina State and one of the most important in the country. Headquartered in downtown Florianópolis, the club offers a nautical leisure infrastructure, belonging to about 700 members with 400 vessels a reference to the nautical world in a state that adds 500 kilometers of coastline. The club encourages boating in the country through the sailing school project seeking the formation and development of water sports.
