Clam Beach County Park

McKinleyville, California

Clam Beach County Park has two camping areas right on the beach. The long flat wave slope makes sand castles and kite flying particularly popular on this beach. Miles of open sandy beach and dunes make this a good beach for long walks. Keep dogs on-leash except on the waveslope during western snowy plover nesting season (March-September).
