Sand, amber, bird migration and sandbanks are characteristics of Gjerrild Nordstran beach. The beach is with the shallow water and fine sand very child-friendly. By Gjerrild Nordstrand beach is one of the best spots to observe raptors on migration. Birds are present at the beach all year – but in great numbers during the migration in spring. At the beach a small house is having a mini exhibition, telling the story of the beach’s role during the extraction of gravel.
