The beach is located at Duncannon village withinWaterford Harbour at the mouth of the three riversthe Barrow, The Suir and the Nore. It is located20km directly south of New Ross town and veryclose to the village of Ramsgrange and Arthurstown.Wide access allows vehicles onto the beach. Thebeach is backed by a dune system and the tidalzone is a proposed ASI. The sandy beach has avery gradual slope and the tide can extend out intothe harbour by as much as 200m.Cares are allowed on this beach.The beach is lifeguarded from 11-7 at the weekend in June and from 11-7 daily in July and August.
