Healdsburg Veteran's Memorial Beach

Healdsburg, California

Healdsburg Veterans Memorial Beach offers a summer swimming beach on the Russian River as well as picnic areas, lawns, a par course, and restrooms.

From July through Labor Day, a seasonal dam creates a calm swimming area just south of the historic, steel-truss Memorial Bridge, and the beach is staffed daily with lifeguards. The park also hosts the Healdsburg Water Carnival each July.

Parking can fill by mid-day on summer weekends, and limited off-street parking is available nearby.
Beach wheelchairs are available upon request. Leashed dogs are allowed on the lawn and in parking lot, but not on the beach or in the river. Alcohol is not allowed in this park.

COVID-19

Keep your distance from other people.

Practicing social distancing is still essential. Only go to the beach if you are able to keep 6 feet or 2 meters away from others. Follow the instructions provided by your local health authorities. If your community has asked that you remain indoors and away from others, do so. Spending a day in any crowded place is the worst thing we can do for our most vulnerable right now and will counter our efforts to curb the virus’s spread.
