This county park on the Hood River offers a day use area with a shelter as well as camping sites. Hike down the trail towards the river to find small sandy beaches tucked in the boulders. The park is a great access point for fishers, swimmers, kayakers and tubers. Beware of currents, rocks and other underwater hazards. Amenities include a picnic shelter, restrooms and 90 camping sites.
Volunteers with Columbia Riverkeeper's Water Quality Monitoring Program have monitored this site since 2006. In the summer months Riverkeeper monitors weekly for E.coli contamination.
