Drive the scenic route along Fairhope’s bluffs bordering Mobile Bay and discover Orange Street Pier and Beach. Parking at the Orange Street lot is by decal only. A public boat launch and restrooms may be found one tenth of a mile to the north. Parking at the boat launch is free but limited. Both sites are easily accessible by following the bluffs’ walking path that connects Fairhope’s various, bayside parks to one another. Park benches and water spigots are plentiful along the path and entice travelers to leisurely enjoy the beautiful views. Onsite amenities include a pier. Fishing license and/or restrictions may apply.
Keep your distance from other people.
Practicing social distancing is essential right now. Follow the advice of the health experts. If your community has asked that you remain indoors and away from others, do so. Heading to the beach should only be considered an option if social distancing practices can be followed. Spending a day in any crowded place is the worst thing we can do for our most vulnerable right now and will counter the efforts to curb the virus’ spread.
