About Keaton Beach
As of 2012, this site is no longer monitored. Located in the “Big Bend” of the Gulf of Mexico, this area of Taylor County’s Nature Coast is popular for its natural beauty, kayaking and birding. Keaton Beach is a small fishing community near 22,000 acres of State Wildlife Management Areas that are available for hunting, fishing, or wildlife watching. Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission completed a Paddling Trail in the area, totaling 105 miles. For more information, please contact 850-584-5366.
