Crab Meadow Beach is one of three town beaches in the Town of Huntington, along with Asharoken and Hobart beaches. This beach, which looks out on the Long Island Sound, is wide and has several small tidal pools at low tide. Amenities include a large playground, restrooms, showers, a boardwalk, grills, and several large pavilions. It has a parking lot close to the sand and there is a handicap accessible ramp from the parking lot to the boardwalk. Food is available at concession stands and a nearby restaurant, La Casa Café. Lifeguards are on duty during summer months. No alcohol, fires, or pets allowed. Beach season passes are $25 for residents, and daily passes are $15 for residents and $25 for non-residents. This is a Tier II beach.
