Schuyler Hill Civic Association

Bronx, New York

All the Bronx beaches are mostly private and this club is no exception. The Schuyler Hill Civic Association is located at Mitchell Place in Schuylerville in the Bronx, New York. The private beach looks out over City Island, like all the beaches on the strip. This club accepts new members, but it requires applicants to be sponsored by a current member(s) in good standing. Like many other private clubs that want to maintain their exclusivity, this club does not have a public website. One member described it as "a strip of heaven that we try to keep secret." In fact, most people do not know about the private beaches on this strip. The waters here are tested regularly for swimming purposes. For more information, call (718) 822-6212.
