Having recently purchased the property from the Kiwanis Club, this gem is one of the best opportunities to be found in Coleman Township. The area is beautifully kept clean in the soft sandy beach above the clean water.

Sampling period: May 15th to September 1st, 2017.

Sampling frequency: New Liskeard and Larder Lake Beaches are tested weekly, all other beaches are tested monthly. For more up-to-date information about the water quality, please call the Timiskaming Health Unit.

Beach closure: A “no swimming advisory” is posted on beaches in Ontario when E. coli levels are above 200 units per 100 mL or if levels are above 100 units for two consecutive days. For more information, visit: www.theswimguide.org/learn.

Sampling authority: The Timiskaming Health Unit is responsible for testing water quality at all public beaches in the Timiskaming region.
