Bell Grove Beach is located on Hermit’s Bay within Ramsey Lake. Ramsey Lake is a freshwater lake which receives drainage from Minnow Lake and a few other creeks on the north shore and Laurentian Lake on the south shore. Ramsey Lake drains into Lily Creek, eventually draining into Georgian Bay. Be careful while swimming at Bell Grove Beach as it is not supervised by lifeguards. If you are interested in an adventure while visiting Bell Grove Beach there are four trail entrances close by. These trails are Ramsey Lake Path, Bell Grove Trail, Bell Park Walkway, and Lily Creek Boardwalk. These trails are part of the Greater Sudbury Trail system known as Rainbow Routes. Bell Park Walkway leads to the rest of the beaches along the northwestern shoreline of Ramsey Lake.
