Village Creek Beach has been described as one of South Norwalk's best kept secrets. It is a private beach located in the Village Creek community of South Norwalk. Residents of Village Creek must be members of Village Creek Home Owner's Association. In addition to its beauty, the area is also rich in history. The community was built in 1949 in an effort to encourage racial and religious equality at a time when housing discrimination was common in the United States.
