Waterford Town Beach is a natural, sandy beach with views of Long Island Sound from the Waterford shoreline. This beach also offers its visitors the opportunity to see an intact dune system (one of the best examples in Connecticut!). There are also plenty of other activities you can do at the beach including swimming, picnicking, volleyball, and canoeing.

Lifeguards are on duty during the summer months. There is limited parking available so if you plan to drive, you might want to get there early! Beach fees are in effect during the summer.
