This family-friendly, public beach is located in Cape Charles on Chesapeake Bay. The shallow and calm water--along with several large wading pools--make this a great place for kids to cool off during the summer months. At the south side of the beach you can enjoy fishing from the pier. This is also the location of a popular monthly summer party called "Applaud the Sun".
