Long Sands Beach is a 1.5-mile beach located between York Harbor and York Beach. It's a great place to swim or sunbathe, but you'll also find people bodysurfing, flying kites, and playing volleyball. Lifeguards are on duty everyday from the end of June until the beginning of September. There are restrooms here. If you're driving to the beach, you will find metered parking at Long Beach Avenue. The beach is conveniently located near restaurants and shops.
