Plage de l'Aboiteau / Aboiteau Beach

Cap-Pele, New Brunswick

Aboiteau Beach is a 5 km sandy beach located in l'Aboiteau Park, at the edge of the Atlantic Sea. Near the beach, you will have access to several amenities such as showers, toilets, parking, volleyball nets, a licensed restaurant, boardwalk, cottage rentals and souvenir shop. Visitors are encouraged to explore the marshes, sand dunes and lookout tower. On clear days you can see Prince Edward Island from the lookout tower located on the beach. Events and different activities are organized during the summer.

This beach is unsupervised.

La plage est au bord de la Mer Atlantique (eau salée) et est réputée pour
être chaude (entre 18 et 21 degrés Celsius en été). Specificité : Une tour d'observation est présente afin d'admirer les paysages marins notamment l'Ile du Prince Edouard, si le temps le permet.

Commodités : Près de la plage vous aurez accès à différentes commodités telles
que des douches, des toilettes, accès parking , un restaurant, un service de bar et une boutique de souvenirs. Des évènements et des activités sont organisées durant la période estivale. Il y a également la possibilité de louer un chalet avec un accès à la
plage via un trottoir en bois.

*Please swim at your own risk - there are no lifeguards or beach water quality tests. It is advised to not swim at least 48 hours after a heavy rain fall, when there has been a recent algae bloom, or when the water has a strong smell or different colour than usual.
