The north beach at Kohler-Andrae boasts 2487 feet of white sand beach spotted with sand dunes. There are picnic areas throughout the beach as well as a boardwalk. Portions of the trails along the beach are wheelchair accessible.
The Kohler-Andrae State Park and its beaches are located a few miles south of the city of Sheboygan in the Town of Wilson. This state park consists of sand dunes, wetlands, woods, and 2 miles of sandy beaches along Lake Michigan. There are many campsites to enjoy the nature, as well as a variety of wood-planked trails to explore the nearby wooded areas. They have a small picnic area with a playground for kids.
The Nature Center has bathrooms and indoor changing stations, as well as foot washing areas and outdoor showers. Dogs are not allowed on the beaches. There is a nearby parking, but you are required to pay if you want to use it. The park is open from 6am to 11pm.
