Achray Beach East is located on the southeast tip of Grand Lake in Algonquin Provincial Park. Whether you are camping at Achray Campground, or just visiting for the day, Achray East beach offers lots of activities for beach goers. You can enjoy a picnic lunch, discover a secret lake while backcountry canoeing, or go for a swim or a boat ride. Pets are not permitted. Washrooms and parking facilities are located on site. Just south of the beach is the Jack Pine Trail, where Tom Thomson sketched his famous The Jack Pine Sketch. No lifeguards, water safety is your responsibility. Life Jacket Lending Program available.

Practicing social distancing is still essential. Only go to the beach if you are able to keep 6 feet or 2 meters away from others. Follow the instructions provided by your local health authorities. If your community has asked that you remain indoors and away from others, do so.
