Mill Cove, located at the north eastern tip of Campobello island, is a sandy and pebbled beach. The beach is very secluded and is a great place to kayak and go whale watching. Three different types of whales species migrate in the area. This quiet beach is shallow and is where fisherman come to catch fresh lobster. If you are there for lobster season be sure to buy some; it is guaranteed to be fresh and locally caught!
Mill cove est une île de sable et de cailloux, se trouvant à l’extrémité nord-est de l’île de Campobello. Cette plage est très isolée et est un excellent endroit pour faire du kayak et pour observer les baleines. Trois différentes espèces de baleines migrent à cet endroit. Cette plage calme est peu profonde et est l’endroit idéal où viennent les pêcheurs pour attraper du homard frais. Si vous êtes là pour la saison du homard, achetez du homard ; sa fraîcheur et sa pêche locale sont garanties.

Most New Brunswick’s beaches have been set to grey special status because they are not monitored. You will find descriptions of all the beaches, directions to get there, and facilities they offer.

*Please swim at your own risk - there are no lifeguards or beach water quality tests. It is advised to not swim at least 48 hours after a heavy rain fall, when there has been a recent algae bloom, or when the water has a strong smell or different colour than usual.
