Île-Aux-Foins Park


If you are into eco-tourism, the beaches on the Ile-aux-Foin natural park are the perfect place for you. On site, there is a beautiful lighthouse that offers many essentials such as washroom facilities, changing rooms and parking lots. Surrounding the lighthouse, there are picnic areas and boat launches. Also, kids can enjoy the playground nearby. The beaches do not have lifeguards in the area. The site offers a variety of outdoor family activities such as water sports, swimming and fishing. This park is perfect for educational purposes. Along the walking trails, you will find many panels explaining the types of fauna and flora that are present in the park. Plus, there is a bird observation tower in the area nesting birds can be viewed. Moreover, you could take a walk along the coast or sit on the beautiful sandy beach to watch the sunset or sunrise.
