The 2017-2018 Lake Burley Griffin Recreational Season has closed. Water quality sampling and analysis for the 2018-2019 Recreational Season will commence on Monday 8 October 2018. Results will be posted on Thursday 11 October.

SITE INFORMATION
On the northern shores of West Basin in Lake Burley Griffin, this area provides the triathlon swimming training course. Currently this area is undergoing major civil works as part of the ACT Government’s City to the Lake project.
This area is within walking distance to the city centre of Canberra.
*STANDING BACTERIA ALERT*
Swimming should be avoided for several days after heavy rainfall as bacterial levels are strongly affected by such events.
