Wasaga Beach - Zone C includes Allenwood and New Wasaga beaches.
Located on Georgian Bay, Wasaga boasts a 14-kilometre-long sandy beach. The warm, shallow water makes Wasaga the ideal place for swimmers of all ages. Every summer, thousands of people flock to this provincial park to enjoy its natural wonder. The park features hiking trails, a historic site that tells Wasaga's colourful naval history, jazz concerts and environmental educational activities. Park staff patrol the entire beach area and first aid equipment are readily available. There are no lifeguards present at Wasaga Beach. All necessary amenities are within walking distance. The Recreation class park has eight beach areas each with parking areas. Change facilities and washrooms are located near every beach. The park is available for day-use only.
*A Blue Flag beach is one that meets strict water quality and safety criteria. These beaches have been certified as being clean, accessible, eco-friendly, and having great water quality! Swim Drink Fish is the National Operator for Blue Flag in Canada.
