The Dingle SeaView Park

The Dingle Tower is located within Sir Sanford Flemming Park on the western side of the Northwest Arm (part of the Halifax Harbour). From Halifax’s Armdale Rotary, take the Herring Cove Road exit up the hill to Purcells Cove Rd on the left. Follow Purcells Cove Rd until you see the large, stone gate entrance to the park. Sir Sandford Fleming Park(The Dingle) is off Purcell's Cove Road in the heart of Halifax,95 acres of woodlands facing the sea,is a wonderful place to walk for people of all ages,has benches,playground for children,a wharf and boat launch.It is a good place for people to rediscover nature and to calm our over-stimulated human minds.Seabirds,land birds and nature's treasures from the sea can also be found on the beaches or in the surrounding salt ocean water and rocks.
