Quarry Lake Recreation Area near Canmore

This is one of Canmore's favourite outdoor recreation areas. The park is open from 7:00 am to 11: pm year round. The water is shallow with a sandy bottom in the beach area but deepens about 30 ft out. It is crystal clear and the water deepens fast. Some parts of the lake are over 100 ft deep and you may see some cliff jumpers nearby. The recreation area is child friendly with day use amenities such as toilets, grassy area, picnic tables and dog off-leash.
