Wild Beach. Near natural sites: The Formentor peninsula belongs to a great coast area declared as a Special Protection Area for birds (ZEPA).· Beach location: In northeast of Mallorca Island. It belongs at the same time to the Northern slopes of Formentor peninsule.· How to get to the beach: To begin with, go toward Calle Mar. Keep it straight overcoming Calle Formentor crossing until converging Ma-10 (Vall de Son March) and Ma-2200 (Pollença-Port de Pollença) roundabout. Take the second exit to get through Ma-2200. Keep driving over there until 2203 crossing (Pollença-Cala San Vicent), turning left to be able to get in. Keep in till reaching Cala San Vicent urbanization. Once you're in the urbanization, just go straight until the end, where you will be forced to turn right. In the following cross to that point, turn left to get in Calle Cala Molins. Drive until you reach the beach. It is worth to say that parking is free. · Environmental education and other facilities: There is no environmental services at Formentor beach due to its natural character but information abaout the natural features of the area can be found on posters placed at the beach.
