Wizard Lake Jubilee Park Beach is a day use park in addition to a Leduc County operated campground. The beach is sandy with a swimming area that starts shallow but deepens quickly. The beach and picnic area are on a slope with all the amenities required for a day at the beach. These include a playground, concession and washroom. Since this lake is small, algae growth is more frequent. It is not unusual for the lake to have a greenish look to it. There is a $6 parking charge for day use and the parking lot provides good access to the beach.
Keep your distance from other people.
Practicing social distancing is still essential. Only go to the beach if you are able to keep 6 feet or 2 meters away from others. Follow the instructions provided by your local health authorities. If your community has asked that you remain indoors and away from others, do so. Spending a day in any crowded place is the worst thing we can do for our most vulnerable right now and will counter our efforts to curb the virus’s spread.
