Black Point Beach is adjacent to Grindstone Point cottage community on the western shore Lake Winnipeg. It is a long sandy public beach on the Grindstone Point peninsula, three hours north of Winnipeg off Provincial Highway 8. There are scenic walking trails that connect cottage subdivisions north of Black’s Point and lots of opportunity to see local wildlife along the paths such as moose, white tailed deer, fox, beaver, bear and otter. There is a small general store at the turn off to Black’s Point for food, books, crafts, and alcohol. Visit the old fashioned Grindstone General Store for food, books, crafts, and alcohol. It's only a short walk from the beach.
