Otter Falls Beach is located in Whiteshell Provincial Park. The beach is along the Winnipeg River. The rapids of the river near Otter Falls have claimed many canoes, which have been rediscovered as archaeological artifacts in the river's depths. The area around Otter Falls provides many mountain biking and hiking trails. The boreal forest consits of a natural forest as well as planted jack pine and red pine forest.
