Callanders Beach is located in Kouchibouguac National Park on the eastern coast of New Brunswick. The Park itself great camping, extensive hiking and cycling trails, and picturesque beaches like Callenders along the warm waters of Northumberland Strait. To access Callanders Beach, hike the 1.2 km Cedars Trail, and along the way you’ll see the Park’s renowned sand dunes as well. Picnic area and nature interpretation on site. Showers, food services and gift shop located a 3.1km hike away at Kellys Beach.

Practicing social distancing is still essential. Only go to the beach if you are able to keep 6 feet or 2 meters away from others. Follow the instructions provided by your local health authorities. If your community has asked that you remain indoors and away from others, do so. Spending a day in any crowded place is the worst thing we can do for our most vulnerable right now and will counter our efforts to curb the virus’s spread.
