BEACH INFO:
The park has a sandy beach, grassy areas with picnic spots and pit and flush toilets. The park is open from April to October. Canoe/kayak/pedal boat rentals are available for rent in the Alouette (South Beach) day-use area on weekends only from May long weekend to late June and daily from late June to Labour Day (weather permitting). There are 5 different trails for hiking and some trails designated for biking. There are three campgrounds located at Golden Ears Provincial Park: Alouette campground, Gold Creek campground and North Beach campground that are all vehicle accessible. Showers with hot water are in the Gold Creek campground.
Keep your distance from other people.
Practicing social distancing is still essential. Only go to the beach if you are able to keep 6 feet or 2 meters away from others. Follow the instructions provided by your local health authorities. If your community has asked that you remain indoors and away from others, do so. Spending a day in any crowded place is the worst thing we can do for our most vulnerable right now and will counter our efforts to curb the virus’s spread.
